Hey Kunal,

DU has made maths compulsory in best of four calculation for opting B.Com(hons) course.A minimum of 50% percent is required in maths to apply for Bcom(hons) course as per recent updates. It may not be possible for you to apply for Bcom(hons) since you did not have maths at the 10+2 level. The rest you can always confirm from the official website of DU.

Thank you.

Hello,

If you are applying for B.Com (Hons.) then mathematics is compulsory. If you are applying for B.Com, you should find the percentage of best four subjects. The subjects to be choosen are:

  • One language (English), plus
  • Three optional languages but of subject relevance (like accountancy, business etc.)

If you do not have subject relevant optional subjects, then there will be 2.5% deduction in marks.
