Aerobic respiration can be defined as the breakdown of glucose in the presence of oxygen to produce more amount of energy.In Short words,respiration which occurs in the presence of oxygen.

Example:Human Beings,animals,birds,e.t.c

Anaerobic respiration can be defined as the breakdown of glucose in the absence of oxygen to produce more amount of energy.In Short words,respiration which occurs in the absence of oxygen

Example:Humans(In case of strenous exercise in which lactic acid is formed),majority of bacteria
