If you're interested to pursue higher education, you can do Master's in Botany or any other relevant fields such as plant genetics, forestry, genetics, agronomy, horticulture etc. You can qualify for NET/SET. In case of teaching in school, you need BEd.

The work opportunities are present in educational institutions, chemical industries, food industries, forest services, national parks, nursery and seed companies, biotechnology research institutes, agriculture research organization etc.
