Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to predict the exact cut-off difference for any of the exams because it keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on. But however there is not much difference between the cut-offs for General category and Gen-EWS category. As you are talking about MHTCET then in this examination also there is no much difference in the cut-offs for both the categories, if you want to consider so you can consider for around 15-50 marks not more than that.

Now the fact is that the colleges are allotted on the basis of rank secured by a candidate in MHTCET and there is much difference in ranking system because if we go through last year's cut-off then it shows that there is a huge difference of around 15,000 ranks between General and Gen-EWS category.

You can check out previous year's cut-off for different colleges taking admission through MHT CET from the link given below to have an idea of difference in closing ranks of both the categories :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your rank and category you can use MHTCET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
