The Cut off is minimum marks which must be scored by a candidate in NTSE Stage 1 to qualify for the NTSE Stage 2. The category-wise Cut Off scores for 2015-16, 2016-17 and expected cut-off for 2017-18 have been given below: General Category: The maximum cut-off marks out of 145 marks for 2015-16 and 2016-17 were 86 and 77, respectively and the same for 2017 is expected to be in between 82 and 86. Scheduled Caste: The cut-off scores for the previous two years were 56.43 and 47.76 and the same for 2017-18 is expected to be in between 48 and 55. Scheduled Tribe: The cut-off marks for ST were 52.12 and 46.67 and for 2017-18, it has been estimated to be somewhere around 46 and 53. Physically Handicapped: For physically handicapped, the cut-off marks stood at 53.47 and 49.33, respectively. For 2017-18, it is likely to be in between 50-55.
