Dear friends,

DASA means Direct Admission of Students Aboard. It is initiative by government of India. Only NRIs, foreign national and PIOs are eligible for DASA scheme.

5% seats out of 15% seats of DASA are reserved for CIWG. Final admission is given in CIWG category, balance amount will be refunded.

Direct Admission of Students Abroad is a scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India for Admissions to Premier Institutions of India. Under Direct Admission of Students, Abroad Scheme admissions to various UG programmes of premier Institutes of India. For admission through DASA Scheme, Candidate must have valid SAT test scores.Based on DASA Scheme, admission is offered for Undergraduate programmes in Engineering / Architecture to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs), and other premier Technical Institutions in India.

The major benefit of DASA is that you need not to follow the complete procedure that is followed by the students who are living here. Also there are seats reserved for DASA students in every top colleges in the country.
