Dear aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. As per your query the main difference between CSE and IT is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes whereas CSE deals with science that facilitates this application. The subjects and job opportunities for B.Tech in these two streams are more or less same. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.

Hello Nagaraju,

There is no significant difference between CSE and IT. Both of these courses are similar till the 6th semister (THIRD YEAR) and then the syllabus changes from sixth semester. Basically CSE goes deep in C++. But the job opportunities for both CSE and IT are same.

I hope you will find my answer helpful.

All the best.
