After completing MCA degree ..you will eligible for all that job for which b.tech Candidates are eligible .
MCA is a postgraduate degree ..if you pursue your MCA with colleges like NITs ,BHU,JNU ..you will have new edge to your life ...for that you have to crack ex like nimcet ,jnu,and bhu..

Generally a computer engg. and a MCA student will be given equal priority . But as you know a comp. engg. holds a degree in engg. because of which they get more preference in jobs. But for MCA students there's nothing to worry about jobs in computer fields . The only thing that matters in todays world is knowledge. If a MCA student has more capability then a comp. engg. then definitely he will get first preference then a comp. engg.
