Diploma candidates are eligible for JEE mains but you wont be able to secure admission based on jEE mains score because NITs,IIITs and other GFTIs does not offer admission to diploma candidates.
However, if you will qualify jee mains, you will be eligible to appear in JEE advance and if you will crack JEE advance JEE advance with good rank then you will get admission in 1st year in IITs.
