Hi aspirant,

Heart is a human organ which pumps blood throughout the body continuously.

Heart is made up of three layers of tissue.

1) Endocardium - Thin lining of the heart which forms the surface for the valves.

2) Myocardium - A thick layer of muscle which helps in contracting and relaxing of the valves.

3) Pericardium - A sac which surrounds the heart.

It consists of four chambers:

*****The left Ventricle

*****The right Ventricle

*****The left Atrium

*****The right Atrium

Working of Heart:

In pumping of blood throughout the body, all these four chambers contribute by contracting and relaxing alternatively for blood flow throughout the body.

I hope this information was helpful to you.

Good Luck!!
