College of Forestry, Sirsi was established in the year 1985. The college offers undergraduate ( B.Sc. in Forestry ) and postgraduate ( M.Sc. in Forestry ) courses in various areas. College of Forestry is a constituent college of the  University of Agricultural Sciences, Karnataka (UAS, Dharwad).

Course Details

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Forestry is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad and approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Eligibility Criteria

A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, shall be eligible for the course.

Admission Process

For Undergraduate Courses (B.Sc.):

• Candidates should qualify the pre-university science examination with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects.
• Eligible candidates have to fill an application form on the website of the university.
• Admission will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the PUC science examination.
• Further, the candidates have to appear for the counselling process at the university for document verification, seat allotment, document verification  and fee payment.

FEE:

The fees for Bsc forestry is approx 25k-30k per annum.

Hostel fees is approx 50k-66 k per annum.
