Hi,
A vet can earn between Rs. 10-50k per month depending on your area of work, experience and expertise. There is quite a lot of scope after a BVsc course as you have opportunities in medical institutions, national parks/wildlife sanctuaries, poultry farms, aviaries, defense services, government animal husbandry departments etc. Decide a path for yourself. You can even study further any get into academics or even switch streams.
All the best!
Hello,,
Graduates of B.V.Sc. Generally choose to become vets and get employed in animal surgeries or elsewhere. If surgery is not your preferred line then the option of research about animal diseases and vaccines is also available. You can get thorough knowledge of animal pharmacy and get employed at pharmaceutical companies where you can design new medicines.
Supervision of abattoirs, animal welfare, and the line of teaching is also open to students once they complete BVSc & A.H course.
Veterinarian: 2-3 lakhs
Veterinary Surgeon: 6-10 lakhs
Hope this helped.
Good luck!
