Out of 15 Lakh student you need to fight for 60000 seats. And if you want govt. mbbs then it is only 16000.  Imagine the competition now.

Obviously competition level is tough.

But the questions asked in exam is moderately difficult.

You need to compete with the best brains of India and  that isn't a easy task.

Still if concepts of an individual is sound, he would feel the exam is very easy.

Look, competition is always high.. no matter whether it’s NEET or AIPMT. Every year 10-12 lakhs candidate appear but very few are able to qualify the exam with a decent rank. There are many students who are trying for 4 years as well! I have seen many such students. So the number remains always high. But that should not affect you much. It shouldn’t be a thing of your concern. Your dedication and sincerity in your preparation matters the most.

All the best!

It is quite competitive. You need to have good conceptual knowledge to score good and be in top candidates. There are quite less number of seats for the total candidates appearing. However, a score of around 500 is considered decent and is enough for a medical seat. To be in toppers, a score of around 650 is required.
Competition in state is also high as seats become lesser. But, of course candidates also are lesser.
I would like to add that if your concepts in 11th and 12th are strong, you would face no problem in cracking NEET.
I wish you all the best.
