Hey Aisha,

Bachelor of Science( Hons) degree is considered to be superior to the Bachelor of Science degree. The Bsc (Hons) is considered to be academically more standard than the ordinary B.Sc degree. Also, a Bachelor degree is easier to get than an Honours degree. Both the courses are for a duration of 3 yeard in India.A student has to write a dissertation for the completion of a Bsc (Hons) degree whereas this is not mandatory for a B.sc student.

Good Luck.

Hello aspirant,

Its actually B.Sc biology about which you are talking, getting specialization in a particular subject is consider as hons. There is not much difference between these two, it's just that Bsc zoology is general degree and Bsc hons Zoology is taught at a bit advanced level means you're totally specialising in that subject and are reading in depth about that particular subject. But other than that there is not much any kind of difference in them.

I hope the information satisfies you.

Thank you!!
