NUTRITIONIST :

Works in primary and secondary health care ( commercial settings like fitness and welfare centres)

They work independently or along with dieticians or other health professionals

They promote healthy eating habits and balanced lifestyle

DIETICIAN :

Works in Tertiary care ( hospitals, private practice, nursing homes, community settings )

They provide dietary counselling, medical Nutrition therapy and group dietary therapy for disease management

They provide appropriate diet, food preparation and Mela planning to treat and manage Nutrition related diseases.

Often work with people with chronic disease condition and provide dietary changes

BSc in clinical Nutrition and dietetics :
