Hello..

The major difference between both these field is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes, while, Computer Science deals with the science that facilitates these applications. On the other hand, IT is just the selection of the proper software or hardware for the task.

It is a scientific approach on computation and logic that how computers actually work(In background). Whereas IT Engineers concentrates on the study of utilizing computers and telecommunications in order to control, gather, store and circulate information to end users. In short, CSE discovers the new methods and programming languages and IT Engineers use them and utilize it to provide a user friendly environment to end users, or general public.
