Greetings!

The difference appears in the marking scheme as KCET considers your 12th score in the respective subjects(PCM/PCMB) for awarding ranks whereas COMEDK ranks are based solely on the score in the exam.

KCET is an exam conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority(KEA) for admissions to technical courses specifically targeted at students who have studied for at least 7 or 8 years in Karnataka. There are other criteria as well, I'd suggest you to check their website out for further info. COMEDK is another similar exam conducted for the same purpose. However, students from all over India are allowed to appear for the exam.

Applications for Admissions are open.
