the dress code for jee mains is as follows:

the candidate should not wear any dress containing too many pockets

and either it maybe a girl or boy they should not wear any dress having coat

and for girls they are not supposed to wear heavy metallic jewels and they should wear only simple kurthi

There is no specific dress code for JEE Main 2018. However, it is suggested not take the following things along with you in the examination hall:

Any electronic item (Including wrist watch)

Sunglasses

Any jewel or ornaments

Belts

Full sleeves shirts/t shirts

Shoes (Only sandals or slippers are permitted)
