Hi Sree Harini, the cutoff for ME at NIT or IIT varies every year based on various factors like, number of test takers, nimber of seats available, merit list, difficulty level of exams etc. However going by the past records, it varies across for various castes,
For general category the older IITs(Bombay,Delhi,Madras,Kanpur etc.) would expect around 750+ for ME whereas the newer IITs(Gandhinagar,Guwahati etc.) would expect around 680+.
The same way, the older NIT would expect around 620+ for general category students and a score of above 550+ for newer NIT.
