Qualification Criteria:-
Qualifying Exam: Candidates must pass the 10+2 or equivalent examination from CBSE or any other examination within scope and standard found to be equivalent to the Senior Secondary Examination of a recognized Indian Board/university after a period of 12 years of study. The medium of instruction in the admitting University will be English.
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subject from Biology/Home Science/ Mathematics/Agriculture are the subjects having in the qualifying exam.
Minimum marks: General/OBC /UPS category candidates have to obtain the 50% for and 40% SC/ST/PC category candidates. Appearing candidates can also eligible but, they have to produce the proof of qualifying examination.
Appearing candidates:Candidate having a compartment/supplementary in any of the subjects will not be eligible unless proof of having cleared the examination with requisite percentage.

Hello dear, the minimum qualification for a person in ICAR is a minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 for central or state board, also clearing of one main subject from Biology/ Mathematics/ Home Science/ Agriculture.
