what is the minimum score required for sc candidate to get into NIT through jee mains . (guessing exact score is difficult but I expect a score nearer to it)

Hello Aspirant!!

You cannot predict the score because it's different for different set of papers. You can guess percentile. You need to have a minimum of 83+ percentile to give a chance of getting a NIT. If you want a better NIT then you need to score 94+ percentile. The more good is the percentile, better are the chances of getting good colleges along with desired branch. This cut-offs may vary due to time advantage this year. I would suggest you to do not invest more time into the cut-offs. Rather study hard and do not worry about the cut-offs. Work hard and all the best.
