Hello Manisha,
The first round of counseling will start in the last week of May, 2019 for BDes and BFTech courses. This happens after the situation test which is comducted for BDes courses. For BFTech admissions you dont have to appear for the situation test. On the basis of this situation test, you get a call letter for BDes course. Finally, the counseling rounds take place where you have to appear in the institute with all your required documents and you’ll be able to confirm your admission in the campuses they give you a choice from.

i had applied for the bftech so now after the sitation test of bdes what we bftech students have to do for admission ?

Do we also have a Group discussion and a Personal interview at the counselling session?If yes, then how to prepare for it?Please reply ASAP. :)
Manisha, For BFTech, you just directly attend the counseling rounds according to the rules of NIFT admissions. You'll be called accordingly.
Divya, Yes, there is a group discussion and personal interview round. You can prep for it by going through people's experiences about the rounds, as well as reading up on topics related to fashion, design, style industry, the latest trends, and so on. Be clear with your opinions and answers, and for personal interview have a list of questions prepped like why you want to do this course, why nift, what are your long term, short term plans.
