Biotechnology is a vast area and most of the biotechnologists are recruited by Clinical Laboratories, Healthcare, Research labs, Pharmaceutical companies, Chemical Industries etc. Some companies that hire Biotechnologists are Ranbaxy, Dr Reddy's, Biocon etc. Biotechnology graduates can also find jobs in agricultural sectors. Biotechnology is a research oriented field, so after completing BSc Or BTech Biotechnology, you can go for Integrated PhD or MSc/MTech then PhD. You can also go for teaching profession.
