The salary of neurologists varies from hospital to hospital and also on the qualification.

In State government sector the starting pay is from about 1.2L to 1.5L per month, in central govt. it is about 1.9-2L and after gaining more experience it can also go up to 3L which is really good.

In private sector, the starting pay is mostly 3L-4L per month. After gaining experience in the private sector they earn so much more with patient visits, clinic etc. which can lead to 8-10L and more per month. But working in a private sector is a tough job which entails you to work for about 12-16 hours per day.
