The Jamia Millia Islamia conducts the JMI Entrance Examination for admissions into various undergraduate courses.

The syllabus for JMI Entrance exam for B.A English Hons. is given below:

  • Part A - 40 Objective Type Questions ( 40 Marks, 1 Mark each ) :

The questions are on Authors, Books, Current Literary Scene in India and Abroad

  • Part B - 60 Marks Questions
  1. Unseen passage for Comprehension - 20 Marks
  2. Grammar and Vocabulary - 10 Marks
  3. Essay - 30 Marks
