Joint Entrance Examination – Main, formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is an all India examination conducted by the National Testing Agency. National Institute of Technology Trichy, It offers 10 undergraduate and 28 graduate programs. Undergraduate programs lead to the B.Tech degrees, while the graduate students and postgraduate students earn M.Tech, M.S. (by Research) and Ph. D degrees. The cutoff rank for general candidate for civil Engineering was around 31,000 rank for home state candidate and 12000 rank for away state:
