There is central exam to get admission in IIT ,NIT,IIT and GFT colleges known as JEE Main.After qualifying JEE Main you can give JEE Advance and if you have ranked in exam you might get IIT college.For admission in NIT's and IIIT's you have to take part in JOSAA counselling after successfully qualifying JEE Main exam.

see iiit hyderabad has different exams and chennels to admission for bachelor of technology courses.

I have mentioned the exams below, however one should apply and prepare for multiple exams to make best posible chances of admission.

1. jee main exam

2. IIITH, UGEE admission process- however ugee exam conducts by iiit hyderabad  for admission to dual degree course program, i.e btech+ms

3.    Special Channel of Admission (SPEC)-  eligibility criteria is

candidates must complete 10+2  course or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and belong to one of the following categories:

Qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE.

You are currently enrolled in an integrated, six-year, 12th + B.Tech programme (after the 10th class).

• For UG courses , the candidates need to possess a valid score of JEE Main . In case a candidate has not appeared for JEE Main exam, admission will be done either on the basis of Olympiads or UGEE conducted by the college itself
• For PG courses , the admissions are conducted through the PGEE score followed by an interview. The students who are GATE qualified are exempted from the entrance exam
• Admission to the PGSSP is based on the academic and professional record of a candidate
• Admissions to PhD is offered through a written exam followed by an interview
