As CSE is a highly demanded branch, the required rank to get a govt seat is less than 7k. Now, it may be vary slightly as cutoff varies in each year. Best govt engg college in West Bengal is Jadavapur University. Rank required in Wbjee for it is less than 70.

Other than Wbjee, Jee main paper 1 is also an entrance exam for west bengal govt engineering colleges. Each govt college has a limited no. of jee main seat.

I am afraid to tell you that your question is not clear. You asked the required rank to get computer science and engineering seats but you have not mentioned the name of the entrance exam . You have not mentioned the name of your category either . So I assume you as an general category student.

For WBJEE as a general category candidate you need to get below 150 rank gor Jadavpur University CSE and approximately 5000 rank for other government college's CSE .
