Common admission test or CAT is a international level entrance examination conducted by the IIM. The eligibility criteria is only that candidates should complete his or her bachelor degree in any stream with at least 50% marks. So you can go for or any subject in your graduation level. But specially BBA I can help you in future .

You have a plenty of time to prepare for CAT exam since you are in class 12 right now so I would suggest you to first concentrate on your board examinations and completing your graduation.
But if you still want to start preparation from now onwards then you can do the followings:
1. Focus on CAT updated pattern as several changes are made every year in the marking scheme, syllabus and sections of the question paper.
2. Practice on regular basis to keep yourself in touch of the subject.
3. Analyse yourself first by attempting some previous years question papers. By this you will be able to know about your strengths and weaknesses.
4. Make your notes properly for revision.
5. Get a good hold on GK and latest updates. Also focus on your grammar and english.
If you are interested in giving CAT examination then for your graduation you can go for BCom (H/P) or Eco(H).
