Since you are talking about the comparison of collges then the first point is that in which course your interest really is:

Now if you talk about CS in YMCA then you will likely to get placed in IT firm as the companies that visit the campus are generally the IT core companies an offfer 4-6 lac package 

Now if you talk about NIT for civil then you can ask the college authority that after 1st year do you have an option to switch between your course then you can switch to CS course and get placed with a good package of 8-10 lac which is rare in case of YMCA
