Thank you
With a CRL rank of 152,999 and an OBC rank of 50,380, YMCA Faridabad’s B.Tech (Computer Engineering) may be a stretch. In 2024, the college’s OBC Home State cutoff closing rank ranged roughly 46,386 for this branch . This places your rank close to the upper limit, meaning admission is possible but not guaranteed especially if many higher-ranked candidates opt for other colleges. You may have a slightly better chance under the All India OBC category if cut-offs shift. Keep an eye on counselling rounds and consider backup options like Information Technology or nearby engineering colleges where your rank fits more comfortably.
Thanks for asking—wishing you the best with your engineering admission!
Yes, you can get admission in YMCA college of Faridabad that depends on your JEE Mains rank.
If your All India Rank is between something 30,000 to 50,000 than you can apply in following branches or departments:
1) Computer Engineering is a high demanding course.
2) Data Science
3) AI that is trending and best for future placements.
Remember that cutoff for each year changes, so for more detailed understanding you can check previous year cutoff in your interested course.
And If your rank is more than 1,00,000 than you can go for these courses:
1) Mechanical Engineering
2) Civil Engineering
3) Electrical Engineering
4) Environment Engineering
If you are still confused about which branch to select than you can go for Mechanical and civil engineering because there are more likely chance of yours to get admission.
Hello aspirant,
tumhare 64 percentile ke saath, JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA Faridabad me kuch branches milne ke chances hain, especially Home State OBC quota ke under.
Let’s break it down: Tumhari category OBC hai aur tum Bihar se ho, so agar Bihar ke students ke liye Home State quota applicable hai (mostly Haryana ke liye hota hai, but agar All India quota apply ho raha hai toh chances thode kam ho sakte hain).
YMCA 2024 cutoff (OBC - Home State):
B.Tech Civil Engineering: 129576 - 150848
Computer Engineering Hindi Medium: 128740
Environmental Engineering: 194831 - 221230
Mechanical Hindi Medium: 239743 - 344203
64 percentile ka approx rank ~ 3,60,000 - 4,00,000 ke around ho sakta hai (shift-wise variation possible hai). Is hisaab se:
Likely options (low chance but possible in later rounds):
Mechanical Engineering (Hindi Medium)
Environmental Engineering
Less likely options:
CS, IT, EC, Robotics, Data Science etc. — inke cutoffs zyada high hote hain.
Suggestions:
Haryana state quota apply nahi hota toh All India quota me cutoff kaafi lower hota hai (rank zyada hona chahiye).
Try other state colleges too with OBC reservation.
Use YMCA Faridabad Cutoff 2025: Check Previous Year’s Closing Cut Off Score/Trends estimate better options.
Best of luck!
64 percentile is too low to get admission in any core branches (like CSE, IT, ECE) through All India or Haryana State Quota. Cutoffs for YMCA Faridabad generally close around 85–90 percentile or higher for OBC category.
You can look for private engineering colleges or state-level counseling options where cutoffs are lower and eligibility is flexible.
With an OBC rank of 84,751 in JEE Main 2025, getting Computer Science (AI/ML) at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA Faridabad is not likely.
In previous years, the OBC category closing ranks for CSE and its AI/ML-related specializations (like Data Science or Robotics & AI) at YMCA were between 58,000 and 68,000 under the Home State quota. Your rank is well beyond these cutoffs, so admission to any CSE-based specialization at YMCA is highly unlikely.
However, you might still have a chance in lower-demand branches like Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering at YMCA, as their cutoffs often go beyond 1 lakh in the OBC category.
If you’re determined to pursue AI/ML, you may consider:
– Other private or state universities with higher cutoff flexibility
– Spot or management quota rounds (if financially feasible)
– Taking a core branch and upskilling in AI/ML through certifications and electives

Hello,
As an OBC (Haryana) candidate with 87 percentile in JEE Main, your approximate home-state rank would be around 1.1 to 1.3 lakh.
Based on previous year Haryana counselling cutoffs:
Civil Engineering : Good chance
Mechanical Engineering : Borderline
Electrical Engineering : Tough to get
Electronics (IoT) : Unlikely
CSE / IT / ECE : Very unlikely
So, you may get Civil Engineering at YMCA Faridabad through Haryana counselling .
Hope it helps !
hi,
With an OBC rank of 77,000 and being a Haryana resident, you have a fair chance to get a seat in YMCA Faridabad under the home state quota. You may not get high-demand branches like CSE or IT because their cutoffs are usually much lower ranks, but you have a good chance of getting branches like Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Hello,
With an EWS category All India JEE Main rank of 44,000, you have a strong chance of securing a seat in CSE at YMCA (J.C. Bose University) Faridabad. In the Haryana counseling, the closing rank for CSE (All India) in 2024 was around 55,104, and the expected cutoff range for 2025 remains in the 50,000 to 90,000 zone for general and EWS candidates.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Infrastructure is average like there are many things that should be corrected the classroom are not in good condition and the water coolers are also not good they are in a very bad condition and unhygienic
My college boasts excellent infrastructure, including spacious classrooms with modern teaching aids, well-equipped laboratories for practical learning, a rich library with digital resources, sports facilities, and clean, green surroundings that create an ideal learning environment.
College infrastructure is not so good tbh as the active campus size is just 16 Acres which is very less comparing to the strength of Students. And the Building of college is also very old that was established in 1969 so the classes are not in so much good condition.
