You can go for jobs private as well as government.

Hello!!
There are many opportunities for Mechanical Engineers after their graduation. Campus Placements, Private Jobs, Core Company Jobs, Software Jobs, Government jobs, PSUs, Startups, Own Business etc. Through GATE you can also get government jobs, private jobs and PSUs. If you want to study further you can write GATE exam and join M.Tech in IITs or NITs. You also have obe more option, you can do MS in States.
