Actually if you join  engineering whatever branch in 1st semester all the basis and fundamental of subject available in maximum University syllabus such as basic mechanical engineering , basic civil engineering, basic electrical and electronics engineering , physical and chemistry.

But maximum topics of physics are required in electrical engineering which are
Power and energy , measurements and dimensions , metal and nonmetal , magnetic , electrostatic.

To pursue any engineering, physics is like the heart of the engineering. To pursue electrical engineering, you need all the basics including your class 12 physics and basics from 9th grade to 12th grade. You have to be strong in your basics to make your engineering easy and accurate.

Basic Newtonian mechanics. You'll need it since it forms a basis for everything else.

Classical electromagnetics. For the non-electromagnetic specialist or the generalist, it doesn't need to go that far in depth. Just basic electric and Lorentz forces (not even magnetic dipole-dipole forces!), voltage, current, Kirchoff's laws, capacitance, inductance, plane waves, basic lens optics and eventually transmission lines and extremely basic antennas.

Solid state physics. For the non-semiconductor specialist or generalist, just some really basic stuff. Band gap, doping, p-n junctions, field effect, and transistor operation.

Other stuff can and will be useful, but it's not necessary.
