The GATE 2016 was organized by IIsc, Bangalore in 2016. An approximate 818850 candidates appeared for GATE 2016. The result was announced on March 19, 2016. The GATE exam was organized by IIT Roorkee in 2017. About 9,22,167 candidates appeared for GATE 2017 out of which 1,29,149 candidates qualified. The result was announced on March 26, 2017. The cut-offs were based on various factors such as the number of candidates appeared, the number of seats available, the difficulty of the exam, etc.
MA cut-off :
The qualifying cut-off for MA paper in the general category in 2016 is 25.4. The cut-off for 2017 is unavailable.
