Dear Priya, now that AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS entrance examinations have been scrapped off, the only changes that might happen would be:

• NEET is in offline mode but AIIMS is in online mode and so Candidates aspiring to join AIIMS and JIPMER will continue to write the entrance examination in Pen and Paper mode
• Now NEET has only Physics, Chemistry and Biology sections unlike AIIMS which has GK. So even this will see a change that Candidates needn't prepare for GK and Logical Ability  except for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• AIIMS allots 1 mark for the right answer and 1/3 of the marks will be taken away for a wrong answer. But with NEET, every right answer gets you 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark.
• AIIMS has 200 questions while NEET will have 180 questions. Physics and Chemistry will have 45 questions each and Biology will have 90 questions.

Hello Mithilesh, As of next year there will only be NEET Exam for admission in all the medical colleges. There will not be any separate exam for admission in colleges like AIIMS and others. Candidates will be required to give only one exam. AIIMS will too admit students only through NEET Score.
