Candidates are required to register at the portal of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. After registration, candidates can use the following portal (jipmer.edu.in/user/login) for JIPMER student login. After logging in, candidates can see the application form, pending fees, results and other academic details.

The JIPMER B.Sc courses are offered in disciplines like  Anaesthesia Technology, Neurotechnology, Radiotherapy Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Perfusion Technology and more.

JIPMER Admission Process for UG Courses

• Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria for JIPMER Puducherry MBBS admissions.

• Then, eligible candidates need to appear for NEET UG and obtain a valid score. 

• Candidates who meet the NEET cutoff score are required to participate in the counselling process conducted by the Medical Council of India.

• Further, the candidates who are selected for JIPMER admissions are allotted seats based on their scores in the NEET.

JIPMER Admission Process for M.Sc/PGD Courses

• Candidates, after meeting the JIPMER eligibility criteria for PG courses, should fill out the registration form.

• After paying the application form fee, candidates must take the entrance test at the selected test centre.

• After qualifying for the entrance test, a merit list will be prepared based on the entrance test scores.

• Candidates should apply for counselling and select the desired course and specialisation.

• After the seat allotment, candidates should get their documents verified and pay the fee to confirm JIPMER admission.

JIPMER Admission Process for MS/MDS/MD Courses

• Candidates are required to register for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET).

• After paying the application fee of Rs 4,000 (Rs 3,200 for SC/ST/ and EWS), candidates should take the INI CET and secure a valid score.

• Qualified candidates must participate in the seat allocation process.

• Candidates will be shortlisted for JIPMER admission based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination. 

• To confirm admission, candidates should get their documents verified and pay the JIPMER fee.

JIPMER Puducherry doctoral admissions are offered for DM, M.Ch and Ph.D courses in full-time mode. The doctoral courses are offered in branches like Neurology, Oncology, Neuroimaging and Intervention, Neuroanaesthesia and more.

Candidates can apply for JIPMER Puducherry Ph.D admissions in full-time mode. JIPMER Ph.D courses are offered in specialisations like Biochemistry, Preventive and Social Medicine and Medical Oncology. 

JIPMER Ph.D Admission Process 2025

• Candidates should fill out the JIPMER Ph.D application form available on the official website.

• The selection for the Ph.D course is based on the written test and viva-voice examination. Candidates who score more than 50% on the entrance test will qualify for the viva-voice examination. 

• A merit list is generated for the qualified candidates, and they must get their documents verified.

• JIPMER admission is confirmed only after the successful completion of document verification and fee payment.

JIPMER Puducherry DM admissions are offered for courses in three specialisations. The DM courses at JIPMER Puducherry include DM Neurology, DM Neuroimaging and Intervention and DM Neuroanaesthesia. JIPMER Puducherry M.Ch admissions are offered in two specialisations. JIPMER M.Ch admissions are offered for M.Ch Neurosurgery and M.Ch Neurosurgery.

JIPMER Puducherry Admission Process for DM/M.Ch

• Candidates are required to register and appear for the INI SS entrance exam. 

• After paying the application fee, candidates should take the INI SS and secure a valid score.

• Candidates having valid scores in entrance exams are required to attend the JIPMER counselling process.

For JIPMER INICET counselling, candidates must visit the following website link: inicounselling.aiimsexams.edu.in. The INICET counselling is conducted by AIIMS Delhi. Counselling for other JIPMER courses is notified on the official website of JIPMER.
