Being a scientist means you should really have the passion towards exploration and research. This is a very good field. If you get to join any good organisation or travel abroad for further research and study then you can keep on discovering tons of knowledge. Then being a Doctor is obviously a very noble profession. There's a lot of competition between students to get an admission in medical colleges. And if your diagnosis is good then your reputation will be sky high. Now if you take your salary into consideration then being a Doctor will get you huge amount of it which will include your salary from the hospital as well as from your private practices.

It's on you now to choose from the two. There's no career problem of scientist if you are really eager to grasp something about a particular topic. You can do researches in that. Doctor can earn you money as well as respect, there's no doubt in it. But both the jobs have one disadvantage. That is you won't get time for yourself. They are one of the most hectic and tiring jobs. You should take time and decide which can better for you. If you take your pay into consideration then Doctor is the choice. And if you want to be an enthusiast, a learner and passionate study and discovery and inventions then Scientist is the choice.
