Both courses have good opportunities and scope in India. Eligibility for entering into these both courses are nearly same. Biotechnology is a broad one which includes all the biotechnological methods to utilize biological resources. Whereas plant molecular biology and biotechnology is a course which gives you the specialized knowledge in plant related molecules and also in biotechnology.

If you are interested in plants, then choose the later one. Otherwise biotechnology is a common one.
