The maximum salary offered was INR 50,000 for the physics department and the minimum salary offered was INR 8,000 for the Political Science department .According to the Kuvempu University placements report for the academic year 2019-20 for PG 2- years programme, out of 1427 eligible students for placement, 630 got the job offers with a median salary of 2.60 lakhs whereas, 30 students opted for the higher studies. For the PG 3-years programme, out of 28 eligible students. 18 of them got placed while 3 opted for higher studies.
