Well let's analyse the facts.

1. CSE is probably the most demanding of all the clg and branch that come under Comedk/CET, and other engineering entrance exams. 

2.The cutoff therefore are higher for CSE when compared to ISE because of higher demand.

3. Syllabus wise, both CSE and ISE are majorly same , except for maybe a few subject here and there during higher semester.

4.Placement wise , all the Companies that come for CSE allow ISE people to sit as well. So Placements are uniform in both the branches.

5. CSE is older department and hence globally recognized. ISE is a comparatively new branch. ( For RV).

Overall both are top branches without doubt. Whichever u get , get admitted in that.

Both are the best options ad has very high placement records. If you want to be a software developer or web/app developer then you can definitely go for CSE brsnch, otherwise ISE is also can be considered as well.
