If you are staying in india by holding those degrees, you can't expect good salary packages.

For good jobs purposes according to those degrees, you need to go for abroad.

Comparing these two's, almost same but petroleum engengineer is far better..

Since in india you cant find good colleges regarding petrochemical engineering but there are some exceptionally good colleges for petroleum engineering and can help you grab exciting salary packages

hence if you would take my opinion petroleum engineering can help you carve your career. Well on the contrary if you want to pursue studies in abroad things will contradict that of India.
