Which is a better course - Bsc CS or BSc plain (PCM) for a person who's looking to prepare for CAT ?

Practically it does not matter in which field you have done your graduation from.
Until its BBA which can help you to form your base for MBA.

Rest your focus should be on your academic percentage and performance.
It can be asked you later in the interview as being from science background the reason you choose to shift in commerce and so you should be prepared for a logical and unique answer.

There is no much matter if your do Bsc plain or Bsc with some specialization.

Later if you are not much interested in management then you can get back in Bsc so if you are interested in computer science then go for it.
You will have 2 options on safer side.
