Civil & Mechanical are non comparable streams.Mechanical is not a small but very vast area having a thousand of branches & Civil branch also has a very big capital area.Both fields have great scope,salary and bright future.
If you think about Civil engineering then you can grab both govt and private job of Road, Building, Dam,House, stadiums construction like Bakeri, NHAI, Jaypee group & in mechanical engineering, you can get jobs in private and govt organizations like the Indian railway, ISRO, NASA, automobile, aeronautical, mechanical companies. The final decision remains with you. Lastly, getting deep into the field and exploring will help you grow better.
