NIT Durgapur offers four-year BTech, two-year MTech, three-year MSc, MCA, MBA and PhD programmes in various specialisations. Chemical Engineering Branch placements

Approximately 82% of students got placed in chemical engineering in 2020. The highest, lowest and average packages offered are 16, 4.2 and 7.52 LPA, respectively. Students got placed in major recruiters like Wipro, Jio, Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, Hero Motocorp and Reliance Industries.

Metallurgy Engineering Placements

More than 60% of the student were placed in the previous year from the metallurgy department. The highest salary package offered in Metallurgy is 10-12 LPA and the lowest is 5-6LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, JSW, Vedanta, and many more.
