Hello, it depends on which organization you are recruited in or where you do your masters. If you are doing MS in abroad then you will be more inclined towards studying research programs further or will be recruited in R&D departments. If you aim for M.Tech or ME then you will be recruited in application fields. Another option would be MBA where you will be recruited as manager for engineering divisions.

You can sort your options based on

  • How much careers growth can you experience in that particular line
  • how long will it take to reach there?
  • Will you be able to work with the current technologies or what kind of knowledge can you gain from it

Choosing a field in haste because it is available immediately will only serve as a temporary solution. If you feel like you can achieve better heights if you did masters first or have work experience it is totally in your ambit.

Hope this helps.
