IIIT bbsr is a govt. College with NIRF 2020 of #201-#250 and 23 acres wide campus. Admission at IIIT bbsr are done through JoSAA counseling and self-counselling by institute for odisha Category seats. Total fees of this college is around 1.8-2 lakhs.  For CSE branch they have 30 seats. The highest salary package offered is 24LPA and the average salary is 5.5 LPA.

IIIT guwahati is also a govt. College with NIRF ranking. Admission is done through JEE Mains score/rank. Seats for CSE brank they have 115. Total fees structure is 1.5-1.8 lakhs. Placements are successful in this college. Some of the companies where our students got placed are TCS, IBM, Wipro etc. Highest salary in cse branch was 56 LPA and the average salary is 11.7 LPA.

Both the IIIT's are good. IIIT Guwahati is one of the twenty new IIITs settled under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP). The institute was declared as an “Institute of National Importance” under Parliament Act 2017.  the highest salary: 56 LPA, Average (Domestic):10.1 LPA, the lowest: About 3-4 LPA .

Coming to IIIT bhubaneswar , it has really good infrastructure  and facilities, very good professors, and good placement. On an average 80-90% get placed every year. The highest package offered this year was 25 LPA and minimum 6 LPA.

So, choose wisely .

IIIT Guwahati is better CSE than IIIT Bhuvneshwar. IIIT Guwahati has centralised infrastructure and it is funded by central government. But  IIIT Bhuvneshwar is funded by the state government.

IIIT Guwahati is getting better placement and campusing process every year. On the other hand  IIIT Bhubaneswar is going under saturation and no increase in placement process in the recent past.

I IIT Bhubaneswar has no substantial increase in infrastructure facilities and placement and campus facilities.

In IIIT all faculties encourages for research program from the undergraduate level like cyber securities program also.

Sum in my view Guwahati IIIT is better than Bhubaneswar iIIT.
