According to faculty and placement IIEST  Shivpur Indian institute of engineering science & technology for electrical engineering student is better than  NIT Durgapur for electrical engineering course. Respect of placement NIT Durgapur,  70% student got placed in stream of electrical engineering. Average salary they get 9.90lacs per annum and the highest salary is 30 lakh per annum.
