which is better for btech graduation either autonomous college or deemed University ??
Hello
The main difference between autonomous and deemed university is , deemed university is more free and flexible as compare to autonomous.
Both have their own advantage and disadvantage. It is totally depend upon that college .
I prefer autonomous one because they have theirown syllabus and amd credit system . So they usually update their curriculum as per its futuristic use.
And when it came to ,nits iisc's then no one can replace it in reputation and other things.
Good Luck.
The selection between the autonomous college and deemed university completely depends on your performance in your state-level engineering entrance exam.
First check whether any good autonomous college can be possible to get admission, according to your rank and category. Then you may find some autonomous colleges. You can select one among them. Comparatively, the fee would be much lesser in autonomous colleges than deemed university if you go by rank. If you have a good rank, you can easily get BTech admission in a top autonomous college which is equivalent to a deemed university.
In deemed universities, irrespective of your rank in their entrance exam, you need to pay the same fee. The fee would be much higher than that of an autonomous college. But if you have no concern about the fee, a deemed university is the best option to join instead of an autonomous college, because, most of the top tech companies will visit deemed universities at the time of placements. You will have a lot of options there.
But if you cannot afford to pay the fee in a deemed university, then go with the autonomous college you can get admission in, with your rank. Autonomous colleges also provide opportunities to students by welcoming good companies for placements. But the number of opportunities will vary a lot from deemed universities to autonomous colleges.
Finally what I want to suggest is, if you have a good rank and can get admission in a top college, then go for autonomous. Otherwise go for a deemed university, if you can afford it.
All the best:)
