Computer science and engineering or software engineering is a vast sector consisting of various languages and till growing day by day with introduction of new language tools. however for beginners it is always recommended that day start with a basic language which would help them get the idea of the algorithm and syntax of programming languages. Once you are aware of this algorithm it would be much easier for you to learn the other languages quickly and efficiently. Now coming to the question for which language you should choose, the answer would be a toss up between Java and python. in my recommendation you should start with Python as it is the simplest language to start with and has user friendly setup. Python also has a vast use in game development and the backend development of websites so you get a lot of opportunities if you master the skills of python. dadar language which you can choose is Java that is mainly used for website development but is little trickier to learn than python.
