BIT sindri provides laptop for students in need and those who do not have access to laptop. Although the name of the laptop is not mentioned online the criteria to get a laptop is-

1)Financial Need-validated by income certificates/parents interview

2)Merit-based on marks in previous semester

3)Branch of study-need of laptop in curriculum like CSE,IT,ECE,EE students.

4)Aptitude

5)Graduation year

6)Personal interviews.
